Bourbon Nutella Milkshake

The shameful truth is that I could eat Nutella all day long. I could eat it in a box. I could eat it with a fox. . .
But the real question is (this being National Bourbon Heritage Month and all) could I eat it with Bourbon? I was determined to give it a try.  I am a firm believer that most anything can be enhanced with the right Bourbon.
But what to make?
Dessert, obviously.  Hmmmm. . .
I have baked with Bourbon many times to outstanding results. And while that is a good standby, I wanted to try something new. Ice Cream? Maybe. But I still wanted more. Something more decadent and shameful. Something that would make me cross my eyes with its sheer sinfulness.
I present to you:

The Bourbon Nutella Milkshake

1/2 Cup Nutella (divided)
1/4 Cup Maker's 46 Bourbon (we're being decedent here, so go for the good stuff.)
1/2 Cup good quality vanilla bean ice cream
sea salt
1/4 cup milk
whipped cream

Combine 1/4 cup Nutella, Bourbon, ice cream, pinch of sea salt, and milk in blender. Combine until well blended. Pour into tall glass. Place remaining Nutella in microwave safe container, melt 20-30 seconds until smooth and pourable. Top milkshake with whipped cream, drizzle with Nutella.
If you wanted you could add a cherry on top and that would be. . . Well, you know.
