It's Back!

It's back, people! My favorite show comes back on for its third season tonight. You know what I'm talking about, right? Because you're just as excited as I am.
Justified season 3 premiers tonight at 10 on FX. I'll be DVRing it for The Captain, but you better believe I'll be watching it tonight.
I am a little sad that Mags Bennett, last season's villain du jour, won't be back after being killed off in the last episode. It's a shame, too. Margo Martindale (she won a Best Supporting Actress Emmy for the part) was so spot-on as the matriarch of an Eastern Kentucky crime family that I felt like I really had met her before. She seemed just like a hundred people you know. Too bad she was going down for drugs, extortion, kidnapping, and oh yeah - murder before deciding to end it all.
"It was already in the glass." Classic!
This season promises us a new villain in the form of the icy cold Neal McDonough as city slicker mobster from Detroit trying to get his share of Eastern Kentucky's pill problem.  There's also some mystery man named "Limehouse". And of course (my personal favorite!!!) the ever-present Boyd Crowder played to whispering pissy perfection by Walton Goggins.
I can't wait to see how this crime triangle plays out.
Timothy Olyphant's US Marshall Raylan Givens (and his hat) are back and oh, yeah, he's expecting a baby with his ex-wife, Winona. His ex-girlfriend, Ava, is in it up to her eyebrows with his frenemy, Boyd Crowder. It will definitely be interesting to watch how it all plays out.
I know Mags is gone, but I'll be having a glass of Apple Pie in her honor tonight at 10. You should, too.
